We are very  proud of Dr Cedric Camps of Agroscope, Conthey who is currently presenting plant electrophysiology experiment results at the prestigious International Horticultural Conference in Istanbul Turkey.

The congress is run by the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS) and is the world’s largest congress aimed at promoting research and education in all branches of horticultural science.  The ISHS counts more than 60,000 members from nearly every country and runs more than 140 working groups focused on specialized subject areas. We are presenting as part of the Symposium on Mechanization, Precision Horticulture, and Robotics.

Dr Camps is presenting the results of experiments using PhytlSigns devices to detect changes in plants’ physiology in response to water stress using electrical signals.  Dr Camp’s team at Agroscope are continuing to work with PhytlSigns devices and are measuring plants’ responses to a range of stressors such as salt stress and insect attack.
