Ok, what I’m about to divulge is not exactly “a secret” but we have kept very quiet about this: Yes, we have a contract with DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) to conduct plant communication research.

DARPA has recently invested in many branches of bio-technology research including gene manipulation technologies, detecting chemical weapons using plants, and plant communication.

Phytl Signs (a wholly owned subsidiary of Vivent sárl) has been involved in plant electro-physiology research for many years and have been developing and manufacturing specialised apparatus to examine plant electro-physiology since 2014.

Our Phytl Signs apparatus (patent pending – UKIPO publication) is currently being used for plant research by a number of leading universities, agro-chemical companies and even one very large supermarket chain.

An outline of our DARPA research goals are presented here: RadioBio.
