Vivent Biosignals, a pioneer in decoding plant biosignals to make agriculture more sustainable, today announced a strategic partnership with Green Laniel, a US-focused agronomic solutions provider led by Mauricio Manotas, to accelerate the deployment of plant-driven irrigation and fertigation solutions across key US agricultural markets.
The partnership brings together Vivent’s unique ability to read real-time plant biosignals with Green Laniel’s deep expertise in agronomy, grower operations, and market access in the United States. Together, the companies will collaborate across multiple crop and production systems, with an initial focus on irrigation and fertigation strategies, for greenhouse and permanent crops plus potatoes, guided directly by plant feedback.

Unlike conventional approaches that rely primarily on environmental or soil measurements, Vivent’s technology captures signals from with the plant itself. By decoding these biosignals using proprietary sensors and AI algorithms, Vivent provides early, actionable insights into plant stress and physiological status—often days before visible symptoms occur.
Through this partnership, Green Laniel will integrate Vivent’s biosignal technology into its advisory and solution offerings for US growers. This enables growers to move beyond proxy indicators and make real-time agronomic decisions based on how plants are actually responding to water, nutrients, and environmental conditions.
“By combining Vivent’s plant-level intelligence with Green Laniel’s strong presence and agronomic leadership in the US, we are enabling a new generation of plant-driven farming systems,” said Mauricio Manotas, Green Laniel. “This collaboration supports growers in improving yields and quality while significantly increasing resource efficiency and sustainability.”
The partnership will deliver scalable, data-driven solutions that help US growers optimise water and input use, improve product consistency, and build more resilient production systems—aligned with the growing demand for sustainable and high-performance agriculture.
Vivent Biosignals and Green Laniel look forward to working together to implement plant-driven agriculture across the US market.
